Nourish

Food therapy companion for patients who want more than 'just eat better.'

What it is

Nourish is the patient-facing half of the Steep ecosystem. A practitioner creates a personalized food therapy plan (a “Tea Set”) in Steep, and the patient uses Nourish to follow it — with daily check-ins, recipe cards, and offline access to their guidance.

Why it exists

Practitioners spend time crafting individualized food therapy recommendations, then hand patients a photocopy or a verbal list. Patients forget half of it by the time they get to the grocery store. Nourish keeps the plan accessible, trackable, and actually useful between appointments.

What makes it different

Mobile-first, offline-first. Built as a PWA with service worker caching. Your food therapy plan works at the grocery store, in the kitchen, and everywhere else your phone goes — whether or not you have signal.

Practitioner-connected. Your Tea Set comes from your actual practitioner with their actual recommendations. Not generic wellness advice from someone who sells supplements.

Daily check-ins. Simple tracking that helps both you and your practitioner understand what’s working. Low friction by design — if it took more than 30 seconds, nobody would do it.

Recipe cards. Practical recipes built around your recommended foods. Because knowing mung beans are cooling is less useful than knowing what to do with them.

The name

To nourish is to provide what’s needed for growth and health. It’s what food therapy is fundamentally about — using food as medicine to nourish the body back toward balance.
